Serenity Therapeutic Massage is a practice of Registered Massage Therapists in Vancouver, BC, who aim for top-quality clinical care customized to each specific client. The RMTs have a range of expertise in evidence-based therapeutic care and offer treatments from postural assessment to prenatal massage to craniosacral treatments to sports injury massage. Convenient booking and location
Serenity Therapeutic Massage is located in the heart of Vancouver's medical district on the 12th floor of the Fairmont Medical Building (West Broadway at Willow St) with easy access by car or transit.
We know you're busy so we make it easy to book appointments online anytime through our convenient interactive booking calendar without the need to play phone-tag with a receptionist.
Above-ground pay parking is available in the building but it is often easier (and more economical) to park in one of the nearby buildings (777 or 805 W Broadway) or on the street. Just don't park on W Broadway after 3pm because the city will tow.
Jamie Stuart

Jamie Stuart, RMT completed the 3,000 hour massage therapy program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2008. Jamie has experience in treating a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions such as: back pain, repetitive strain, headaches, pregnancy, motor vehicle injuries, sports injuries and stress induced strain.
Jamie believes in a collaboration between therapist and patient to achieve discussed treatment goals. In efforts to achieve these goals she uses various modalities, including: Swedish, Trigger Point Release, Joint manipulation, Myofascial, and Muscle Energy Technique.
Joy Larsen

Joy Larsen, RMT’s love of travel to developing countries was the catalyst for beginning her career in massage therapy. Working with street people in Kolkata, India Joy quickly learned that touch is the universal language and her experiences in India, Pakistan, Kenya and Uganda working with people living with leprosy and AIDS made a profound impact on her life. Returning to Vancouver, she enrolled in the 3000 hour massage therapy program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westminster, BC, graduating in 2004.
Kate Douglass

Massage Therapy, Prenatal Massage Therapy
Kate Douglass, RMT (she/her, they/them) graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 1996 and has practiced on Vancouver’s West Side ever since. Kate opened Serenity Therapeutic Massage in 2005 and has enjoyed watching it grow into a thriving clinic in the years since.
The main focus of Kate’s practice is on rehabilitative massage therapy and prenatal massage, using slow, specific pressure to treat deeper musculature without causing reactive tissue resistance or pain.
Kate welcomes all bodies and all genders and is queer- and trans-inclusive.
Kate can direct bill to Pacific Blue Cross but does not accept patients with active ICBC claims.
Melanie Fedyk

Massage Therapy
Melanie Fedyk, RMT completed her 3000 hours diploma in Massage Therapy from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy and has practiced in Vancouver since receiving her professional license.
Her interest in Massage Therapy developed as she completed training in sports science in Hong Kong where the focus was on skeletal/muscular systems, kinesiology, and nutrition.
Pamela Labossiere

Massage Therapy, Prenatal Massage Therapy
Pamela has been a Registered Massage Therapist for over 24 years, bringing experience, skill and interpersonal warmth to her treatment room. Each massage is tailored specifically to your concerns using a variety of techniques such as: trigger point therapy, muscle energy technique, neuromuscular therapy and joint mobilizations as well as therapeutic exercise and home care suggestions.
Pamela will determine massage pressure based on your tolerance, preference as well as therapeutic considerations. She has experience assisting clients living with depression, anxiety, PTSD and stress/burnout – providing a sense of relaxation and well-being using a variety of Swedish Massage Techniques.
In her free time, she is either in a dance studio, on her bike or in the mountains enjoying hiking or nordic skiing.

Tina Elrick

Massage Therapy, Prenatal Massage Therapy
Tina Elrick, RMT graduated in 2013 from the 3000 hour massage therapy program at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy.
To further her training in deep fascial techniques, Tina spent a year and a half with an advanced Rolfer as a mentor. Although she utilizes these deep techniques, Tina incorporates many modalities into her treatments, for she understands that no one technique works for every body in every treatment. These modalities include joint mobilizations, Muscle Energy Technique, Swedish massage, Myofascial Release, as well as stretching and strengthening exercises. She has experience in treating headaches, thoracic outlet syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, piriformis syndrome, low back pain, as well as prenatal massage.
Tina is interested in continuing her training in Visceral Manipulation, Cranial Sacral Therapy and Structural Integration.
